One of the most beautiful views on Oahu, the drive up to Makapu’u on Oahu’s South Shore is nothing short of breathtaking. We’ve got several ideas for a budget friendly day in Makapu’u. Just pack a picnic lunch and go… Seriously, does it get anymore beautiful than this? While life in Hawaii means paying $6 for a gallon of milk and a finite number of really cool bars and clubs, I’ll gladly live here just to be able to take this drive whenever I want. This past week I got up early and made the 15 minute trek (how lucky am I?!) out to Makapu’u to spend a quick morning on the beach.
