I have many nieces and nephews! This is the latest addition to the family, beautiful little Kerah April aged 3 weeks. She has so much hair! Diane and I added to our stash of national awards collecting two silver awards each at the recent AIPP Australia Professional Photography awards held in Melbourne.? Diane's shot of these three kids caused a lot of discussion amongst the judges and was challenged which brought it up into the silver range. ? This is also Diane's, taken in King St near last year's gold award winning image .? This scored an 84 so very close to a silver distinction award. Now the craziness of wedding season is over we have more time to concentrate on portraits.? Believe it or not winter is the best time for portraits as the light is nice and soft. I’ve been blessed to be asked to photograph five gorgeous babies over the last two weeks.? Here’s a sneak peek of them all.? They were all so cute and well behaved but so different. The last wedding for the season was a big one and we had such a great day.? Anita and I started off nice and early for the bride's family tea ceremony, followed by 'door games' and then the groom's family tea ceremony.? I love all the traditions that Teresa and Paul respected on their day including one I hadn't seen before where all the family gathered in Teresa and Paul's bedroom to watch a small child jump on the bed.?
