Judy Hua Spring/Summer 2010

Judy Hua (??) is not a stranger in China’s independent fashion design scene with boutiques dotting Shanghai’s popular shopping haunts. Her 2010 Spring/Summer collection, named Hua Kee (???), was inspired by the works of Chinese contemporary artist, Zhou Chunya (???), in particular, his “Peach Blossom” series of paintings. We pick our fav wedding-white pieces from the collection. Above, a ruffle gown with asymmetric hemline, below, romantic gown with multiple tiers of sheer fabric, perfect for a intimate backyard wedding. Lovely ball gown with sweetheart neckline. Ruben Perlotti 2011 Argentum Bride Collection

The Argentum 2011 collection celebrates Ruben Perlotti’s 25 years in fashion. Silk jacquard, in a palette of champagne, ivory and grey, is fashioned with other fabrics such as metallic organza creating textural interest on these beautiful dresses for the contemporary bride. One of our favorite looks from the collection is this gown with asymmetric hemline, which nicely shows off the gorgeous pair of ribbon-tie shoes by Menbur. Just a gossamer hint of a strap makes all the difference on this dress. Grand entrance is assured with this shimmery, voluminous creation. Isabel Zapardiez 2011 Wedding Dress Collection

These outstanding pieces of bridal finery are from Isabel Zapardiez 2011 wedding collection. We’re totally in love with the heavily-decorated head piece and sleek V-neck gown (which comes with pockets!) combination above and the elegant gown with a scoop back, worn with contrasting belt below. Show some skin with this unique gown with plunging back and hanging sleeves. Another unusual creation, this one’s a sleek sheath with a high ruched neck, cape and train. Looking at these beautiful creations, we can’t help but feel that, in the hands of Isabel Zapardiez, bridal gown design is elevated to an art form. Gorgeous gown with tulle/organza overlay. A Hawaii Wedding… Just for Two

Being on the sidelines with the talented team at Pacific Aisles has been pure joy for me the last couple of years. Christina Farrow is in charge of some of Hawaii’s most beautiful weddings but when she wasn’t able to be in town for Jesse and Jessica’s sunset Lanikuhonua wedding, she passed the torch to me for the evening. The first time I met with J+J, a mere two days before the big event, they were ready for a beautiful, elegant evening… just for two. I’ve been waiting a couple of months to share their beautiful evening and the photos are in! Take a peek at all of the beautiful…
