Are you tired of having the same or similar pictures as your friends? We have something fun to offer to all of our clients. Especially high school seniors! With us doing destination weddings, we began to think why not do high school senior sessions in another city? After a long thought and planning session, we decided to open this up to everyone. So how does it work and how much does it cost? 1. You pick a city in the US to go to. 2. Choose a date. 3. Book a flight. 4. Cost – $1500 for an all day session in the city of your choice. 5. You get all day coverage, cd with all images, brag book with images in it, $250 print credit. If you book a destination session with 2 or more friends then you both get 25% off…
Remember a couple of weeks back when we teamed up with 10th Letter Media to giveaway a FREE Engagement Shoot ? Well, here are our winners, Eric and Nozomi, and their lovely Engagement video shot by Julian of 10th Letter Media… Nozomi and Eric Engagement Video from 10th Letter Media on Vimeo . Eric and Nozomi currently live in Japan but were in town for a quick visit to plan their September wedding in Hawaii. Local boy Eric has the sweetest bride on hand as Nozomi sent us a beautiful email about her and Eric and how meaningful an Engagement Shoot in his hometown would be. Here are a few of my favorite stills Julian captured that afternoon in East Honolulu… Congratulations, Eric and Nozomi! Can’t wait til September! For more travel information and…
Irna La Perle somehow manages to escape our radars even though we’ve highlighted some Indonesian designers and bridal houses that featured at Jakarta Fashion Week. Gorgeous use of gentle pastel colors and soft layering give these gowns a light, floaty quality. The dresses are elegantly feminine, a great inspiration for modest brides and hijabi sisters. Some of the more edgier looks on the runway. Discovered via Aifa’s blog . Check out Irna La Perle collections at the website here .
Some of our favorite looks from the Amsale Blue Label collection. Top: Dahlia – strapless silk taffeta gown with shirred bodice, skirt features hand-pleated taffeta floral embroidery. Below: Calista- strapless A-line gown with draped Windsor duchess satin bodice and seamed tulle circle skirt. Adorable! Morgan – English Net/silk georgette halter gown with organza flower at neckline I love the simplicity of this dress. I’m not sure if I can rock this look without looking like I’ve just wrapped a blanket over myself though. Emerson – Strapless A-line dress with French lace bodice and Alençon lace skirt. Check out Amsale Blue Label collection and the rest of
Here in Hawaii, we Chicas take our bikinis seriously. Way seriously. When you grow up on the beach spending afternoons, weekends and endless summers at the ocean, you know a good bikini when you see one. And because local gals practically live in bikinis, that makes us resident experts. So leave your boring one-piece at home (don’t even bother packing it!) and check out our picks for the perfect bikini for your Hawaiian honeymoon… Bikinis: a) They need to look good and b) They need to stay on! Our favorite bikinis flatter every body type and fit perfectly whether you’re sunbathing or surfing! Roxy I’ve been wearing Roxy bikinis since I was in high school and I still love them a decade later. As a late-twenty-something gal, …

These gorgeous gowns are from White One 2010 collection. There’s a lot of ruffles and tiers going on with wedding dresses in recent seasons, don’t you think? This one-shoulder number is a lovely example. Beautiful draping around the bodice of this dress. Cute bow cinched at the waist giving way to slim lace skirt. The result is a combination of pretty/elegant/sexy. Another one-shoulder drape number, this time with generously pleated skirt. BTW, love her hair.
Happy, shiny people – very elegant strapless gown with beautiful lace overlay. Why is the bride so shiny and holding that exact same pose though? Pretty Pleats Princess. Love the slimming effect of the deep V strap. This one, presumably in chiffon, emphasizes the bust-line while sucking in the tummy flat…
